Climbing

If you like steep challenges, Kraft can give you the excitement you seek.  Our climbing wall is 300 m2, has around 55 different climbing paths, divided between 19 rope holds.  The highest point is 12.5 meters.  The climbing wall is die-cast in rock-top material, which helps the wall feel as similar to a mountain as possible, and was delivered from the producer Entre-Price.

Two climbing routes are changed weekly during the season, something that should provide new challenges for both new and experienced climbers. Additionally, we offer a climbing course http://www.sito.no/idrett/klatring/klatrekursinformasjon and Brattkort climbing tests. To ensure safety, we require that everyone on the climbing wall has a “Brattkort” or climbing card. http://www.sito.no/idrett/klatring/brattkortinformasjon

The climbing course is an introductory course to indoor climbing that will examine the equipment and safety technique that is necessary to safely climb indoors.

The “Brattkort,” or climbing card, is obligatory at Kraft.  The climbing card exam is held on the climbing wall at Kraft every Thursday between 6pm and 8pm  (except for the summer months, June until the middle of August, as well as the middle of December until about the 15th of January).  The sign-up is at the reception. For any more information about the climbingcourses or the Brattkort tests, please contact the reception at Kraft.
