Storskogåsen Student Housing
The student housing at Storskogåsen is located in a quiet residential in the middle of the island of Tromsø, about 2 km from the center of town.  The housing is made up of block apartments and town houses in the same area.  The housing is located in a child-friendly area and has a pleasant living environment.

The shared house at Storskogåsen has a living room with a kitchenette, sauna and showers for the residents' use.

Information about storage spaces, fuse boxes, and washing facilities plus fire instructions for Storskogåsen student housing.

Important! Familiarize yourself with fire safety instructions placed in the corridors along with user instructions from the fire department in the laundry facilities (D block)

The blocks are automatically connected to the fire alarm system with smoke detectors in all the rooms, corridors, and stairwells.  The shared kitchen has thermal detectors.  The warning system is directly connected with the fire department.  The fire hoses are in all the stairwells.

Storage Areas
All the rooms in the blocks have storage in the basement in every block.  Do not place valuables in the storage areas and remember to always lock them.

Fuse Box
The fuse box is located in the stairwell on every floor.  The room key opens the fuse box.

Laundry Facilities
The laundry washing facilities are located in the basement of the D-block.

The machines can be used from 0700-2300 (7am-11pm)

There can, unfortunately, be theft from the laundry facilities.  Therefore, do not let clothes stay in the machines.  Take them out as soon as the washing is complete.
