Stakkevollan student housing is located 1.5 km from the university and 5 km from the center of town.  Stakkevollan is made up of townhouses in to or three stories with a total of 148 rooms and 16 2-room apartments.  Connected with the residences is a shared house with washing facilities.

All residences have cable TV, broadband internet, and electricity included in the rent for both rooms and apartments.

Practical Information
Information about storage spaces, fuse boxes, and washing facilities plus fire instructions for Stakkevollan student housing.

Fire Safety: Both individual and shared rooms are equipped with smoke detectors connected with the shared main fire alarm.  The main alarm is located in the shared house.  NOTE! There will be a red light in the detector that has triggered the fire alarm.  Check carefully that it is not a false alarm before the main alarm is sounded. The alarm is not directly connected with the fire department.

Storage Areas:
The rooms have shared indoor storage facilities inside and sports storage facilities outside.

Every apartment has its own storage area inside and shared storage areas outside.

Do not place valuables in the storage area and always remember to lock it.

Fuse Box
The fuse box is located in the inside storage area.

Laundry Facilities
Laundry facilities are located in the shared house.  A laundry card can be obtained at the Service Center when moving in.

The machines can be used from 0700-2400 (7am – midnight).

All apartments should use their own washing machines.

There can, unfortunately, be theft from the laundry facilities.  Therefore, do not let clothes stay in the machines.  Take them out as soon as the washing is complete.
