Elverhøy student housing is centrally located on Tromsø Island within walking distance of the center.  Elverhøy is made up of one block building with numerous rooms, an apartment complex and 2-room apartments spread over three floors.  The building was totally renovated during the summer/fall 2003, and stands out today as our most modern and urban residential offering, designed especially for singles and couples without children.

All residences have access to storage areas and washing facilities.

Practical Information
Information about storage spaces, fuse boxes, and washing facilities plus fire instructions for Elverhøy student housing.


Fire Safety:
The house is automatically connected with the fire department with smoke detectors in all the rooms, corridors, and stairwells.  The system is automatically connected with the fire department.  The fire hose is located in the corridor on all the floors.
Important! Familiarize yourself with fire safety instructions placed in the corridors along with user instructions from the fire department in the entrance.

Laundry Facilities
The shared laundry facilities are found in the basement.

The machines can be used from 0700-2300 (7am – 11pm)

Unfortunately there can be theft of clothes.  Therefore do not let your clothes remain in the machines, take them out as soon as the wash is finished.

Fuse Box
The fuse boxes are located in the corridor.

Storage Areas
Storage areas are found in the basement.  4 and 5 units share the storage area.  The storage is marked with the room number.  Do not place valuables in the storage area and always remember to lock it.
