Full Spectrum Light
Are you feeling tired in the morning? Sleepy during the day? Like you have less energy? Find it difficult to get to sleep when going to bed in the evening? We may have a cure for that!
Between 8:30-11:15 am – full spectrum lights will be available in the closed down student café in Breiviklia, same floor as the Student Counselling Centre.
The lights should only be used in the morning (not after lunch and later in the day), to get the best effect. The purpose is to replace the missing sunlight. You will not get a tan from these lights, only energy and it will make your body produce vitamins (like the sun does).
Those who want to use the lamp for vitamin and energy purposes should try 10 minutes 2 times a week. If it is not working for you, try several days a week.
Those who really have sleeping and waking up difficulties, should try 30-45 minutes every morning for 2 weeks.
Instructions on using the lamps will be placed near the lamps. We will be there at 8:30 am if you have questions. You may also stop by the counselling centre across the hall for questions.
