Universet student child care center is located between the student gym, Kraft, and the Artic biology facility, just below the ski jump and cross-country ski trails on Tromsø Island. We have an exciting and challenging outdoor area both inside and outside the fence. Universet Child care center, meaning the Universe Child care center, opened in a newly designed location on August 7th, 2006. The architect placed great emphasis on adapting the building to the children’s needs. Milky Way waves run through the five classes that are named after constellations in our solar system.

At Universet Child care center we are working to connect kids with a well-organized education environment that is ideal for play and learning. The children will be able to influence their own lives and make a real contribution in their everyday lives. It is important to us that the kids should want to go to the child care center. We are committed to diversity. The differences should not only be accepted but also appreciated and seen as a resource.
