Cafeteria

The student cafeteria serves food and drinks for students and staff at the University of Tromsø. 

Lunch offerings at most of the cafeterias include a variety of breads, such as open-faced sandwiches and foccacia, as well as a salad buffet.  All of the cafeterias serve coffee, while espresso or kaffe lattes can be found at the cafeteria in the pharmacy building. 

Dinner is served in the Medicine and health (MH), social science (Teorifag), and education (AFL) buildings.  The menu is published online every week.

 The cafeterias also offers food and catering for companies.

Medicine and Health Cafeteria

The Medicine and Health Cafeteria (MH) is on the 1st floor of the Medicine and Health building on the University of Tromsø campus. 

Education Department (AFL) cafeteria

The AFL cafeteria is on the first floor of the teacher training college on Mellomveien. 

SiTø kiosk

The SiTø kiosk is the only kiosk at the university and is located in the non-experimental sciences building, house 2. 

Cafeteria in the social science building 1

The student cafeteria in the non-experimental sciences building, house 1, is the largest cafeteria on campus with the widest selection. 

Substitute Workers?

The cafeteria sometimes has a need for part-time workers who can fill-in when employees are sick or at events that require a larger staff.  If you are interested in part-time work for our cafe

Environmental Tips

The student cafeteria does not use paper dishes in order to better protect the environment and reduce waste.
